These flights will utilise Airbus A320 Family aircraft, many of which feature upgraded cabin interiors

New Delhi: Air India is all set for a major expansion of its domestic and short-haul international network with the addition of 174 weekly flights, starting October 26, 2025, under its Northern Winter Schedule. The new flights will be operated by the airline’s single-aisle Airbus A320 Family aircraft, which are designed to strengthen connectivity between key Indian cities and popular destinations in Southeast Asia.
To meet growing travel demand, Air India will increase services on two key Southeast Asian routes. Flights between Delhi and Kuala Lumpur will rise from 7 to 10 per week from November 15, while flights between Delhi and Denpasar (Bali) will also go up from 7 to 10 per week from December 1.

Upgraded fleet
Meanwhile, Air India’s retrofit programme for its legacy Airbus A320neo aircraft, launched in September 2024, is now nearing completion. Out of 27 aircraft, 26 have already been upgraded with brand-new cabin interiors, featuring three classes – Business, Premium Economy, and Economy.
With more than 100 A320 Family aircraft now offering modern interiors and improved comfort, Air India continues to enhance the flying experience for passengers across over 80 domestic and short-haul international routes.
