Air India Express is continuing its expansion drive by adding Nagpur to its growing domestic network and introducing new international flights to Abu Dhabi from Delhi and Pune.

Starting December 1, 2025, the airline will begin twice-daily flights between Nagpur and Bengaluru, strengthening air connectivity between central and southern India. The very next day, December 2, Air India Express will launch direct flights between Delhi–Abu Dhabi, four times a week and Pune–Abu Dhabi, three times a week, further enhancing connections between India and the UAE.

Bookings for these new flights are now open on the airline’s website, airindiaexpress.com, its mobile app, and major travel booking platforms.

With Nagpur joining its network, Air India Express has further expanded its presence in Maharashtra, where it already operates over 130 weekly flights from Mumbai and more than 90 weekly flights from Pune. The airline is also preparing to begin operations from Navi Mumbai, offering 35 weekly flights to key cities such as Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Kolkata.

The addition of Nagpur takes Air India Express’ total destination count to 60, with five new cities added in just the past two months.

The new Nagpur–Bengaluru route adds to Air India Express’ rapidly expanding network from the southern hub. The airline currently operates over 530 weekly flights from Bengaluru, including new connections to Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Jodhpur, and Udaipur, along with international routes to Bangkok, Jeddah, Kuwait, and Riyadh.

From Delhi, the airline operates more than 400 weekly flights, connecting 25 domestic destinations and several international ones, including Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Muscat.

Air India Express recently launched its new brand campaign, ‘Xplore More, Xpress More’, which encourages travellers to discover new destinations and experiences across India and abroad.

The airline has also introduced upgraded cabin interiors on its Boeing 737-8 aircraft with refreshed cabin features like comfortable seats with improved padding and wider armrests, legroom ranging from 29 to 38 inches, USB charging ports at every seat, ovens for serving hot ‘Gourmair’ meals and new carpets, soothing lighting, and the Boeing Sky Interior, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
