Abaan Ahmad was reportedly travelling to Jhansi to meet his elder brother Ali Ahmad, lodged in jail, when his speeding car lost control and crashed into a road divider.

Abaan Ahmad, the youngest son of slain gangster-politician Atiq Ahmad, died in a road accident on Thursday after the car he was travelling in reportedly lost control and rammed into a divider. Initial reports said the vehicle was being driven at high speed at the time of the crash.
According to reports, Abaan was on his way to Jhansi to meet his elder brother, Ali Ahmad, who is currently lodged in Jhansi jail.
The impact of the collision proved fatal, and he succumbed to his injuries. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident, including the exact cause of the crash.
The incident comes more than three years after Atiq Ahmad and his brother Ashraf were shot dead in police custody in April 2023, days after Atiq's son Asad was killed in a police encounter in the Umesh Pal murder case.
Ali Ahmad remains in jail in connection with multiple criminal cases.
