Kasaragod: An 11-year-old girl was kidnapped and sexually assaulted in Bekal here. Medical reports have confirmed that the girl was sexually assaulted. Police have started the investigation.

The girl was kidnapped and raped when she was returning home after her madrasa class. The incident happened one month ago. 

According to the statement given by the victim, a dark-coloured, stout man is behind the attack. 

Following the incident, the girl was later shifted to the hospital due to health issues. The incident came to light during a medical examination by the doctors.
