Reports indicate that the woman was willing to go with her family, but her boyfriend allegedly stopped her, leading to further confrontation

Thamarassery, Kerala: Tension erupted outside a court here on Saturday after a young woman was allowed to leave with her boyfriend, leading to a clash between her relatives and the man’s friends on the road.
The incident happened shortly after the court permitted the woman, Nitha Sherin, daughter of Mukkam native Naseer, to go with her boyfriend, Shamil. The confrontation broke out in front of the Thamarassery court complex.
Earlier, the woman’s relatives had filed a complaint with the Mukkam police stating that she was missing. Police later traced her and recorded her statement before producing her in court. Since she is not a minor, the court ruled that she was free to go with her boyfriend of her own will.
However, tensions flared when the woman stepped out of the court with Shamil. Her relatives attempted to persuade her to return home, which her boyfriend opposed. The situation escalated into a physical altercation between both sides.
Reports indicate that the woman was willing to go with her family, but her boyfriend allegedly stopped her, leading to further confrontation. As his friends also joined in, the situation turned into a large scuffle on the road.
Visuals of the incident have since surfaced online.
