According to police, a diamond-studded gold bangle worth around Rs 5 lakh was allegedly stolen from the residence in January 2026.

Asha Patel reportedly suspected the domestic worker’s involvement in the alleged theft.

Police reports said Asha had been asking Ghate for around five to six months to admit to the alleged theft and return the jewellery.
