Kochi: Dramatic scenes unfolded on the Edappally–Aroor National Highway in Kochi on Tuesday after a container truck lost control, smashed through the bridge railing and was left hanging dangerously over the edge for nearly four hours before rescue teams arrived.

The incident triggered panic among motorists and local residents as the heavy vehicle remained precariously balanced on the bridge, with a portion of the truck suspended in mid-air.
