Odisha’s Gopalpur Beach Festival has become a canvas for awareness, with celebrated sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik using large-scale sculptures to spotlight road safety and environmental protection.

Marking Road Safety month, Pattnaik created a 20-foot-high helmet sculpture using 100 real helmets, sending a strong message on the importance of responsible driving and saving lives.

He also unveiled an 80-foot-long fish sculpture made entirely from discarded plastic, highlighting the growing menace of single-use plastic and its impact on marine life.

Pattnaik plans to claim a world record for this unique creation.
