Saharsa, Bihar: With the Bihar Assembly elections just weeks away, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged Bihari voters working outside the state to cast their votes before returning to their workplaces. Addressing an election rally in Saharsa on Monday, Modi emphasised that every vote will be crucial for a “Viksit Bihar” (developed Bihar).
He energised the crowd with the slogan, “Pehle matdaan, phir jalpaan,” meaning “first vote, then food,” appealing to those who have returned home for the festive season of Diwali and Chhath Puja to prioritise voting before heading back.
