After surviving critical health complications at birth, Thiruvananthapuram Zoo's miracle lion cubs, Simba and Soori, have officially moved to an open enclosure for public viewing.
Meet Simba and Soori, the ‘miracle lion cubs’ of Thiruvananthapuram Zoo, who have made their grand public debut just in time for Onam! Minister for Museums and Zoos O J Janeesh visited the zoo to officially open their open enclosure, giving visitors their very first look at the young lions.
Abandoned at birth and severely underweight, the duo beat all odds through months of 24/7 ICU medical care, round-the-clock monitoring, and specialized milk diets from dedicated zoo staff.
Watch as Simba and Soori step into their new home, healthy, strong and ready to roar into the hearts of visitors.
