Baramati, Maharashtra: Disturbing visuals have emerged from Baramati airport showing the aftermath of the Learjet 45 crash that killed Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Wednesday.

Video footage from the site shows thick black smoke rising into the sky, flames engulfing the wreckage, and debris scattered across the runway. The scene is chaotic, with emergency teams rushing to control the fire and local residents watching in shock.

The aircraft was carrying Ajit Pawar, two staff members, a personal security officer, an attendant, and two crew members, the pilot-in-command and first officer. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) confirmed that all five people on board died, and there were no survivors.

Eyewitnesses described multiple explosions after the crash, saying the aircraft burst into flames upon impact. Rescue efforts were hampered by the intense fire, leaving the scene tragic and chaotic.
