KN Rajanna pushes for G Parameshwara as Karnataka Chief Minister
Senior Congress leader KN Rajanna has reignited the Karnataka leadership discussion by openly backing Dr G Parameshwara for the Chief Minister’s post
Senior Congress leader and former minister KN Rajanna has once again stirred the leadership debate in the party by strongly backing G Parameshwara for the Chief Minister’s post.
"That is exactly what we want. G. Parameshwara should be the next leader. If there is any change involving Siddaramaiah, then Parameshwara should become the Chief Minister; that is our stand. What else should happen?”
Rajanna also highlighted Parameshwara’s long-standing contribution to the party, saying, “Wasn't he the party president for eight years earlier? Didn’t he work for the party? If they had won in 2013, he himself would have become the chief minister. That is what we want; he should become the CM.”
