Madurai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay on Monday inaugurated the newly renovated Gandhi Memorial Museum in Madurai.
The museum has been restored and redeveloped at a cost of ₹10.25 crore, with upgraded exhibition facilities and modern digital displays added while retaining its historic character.
During his visit, Vijay toured the renovated museum and watched a film on the life and teachings of Mahatma Gandhi.
The Gandhi Memorial Museum is one of Madurai’s prominent heritage institutions and houses exhibits documenting Gandhi’s life, the freedom movement and his association with the region.
