Tourists planning an overnight stay in the famed Dhikala Zone of Corbett Tiger Reserve have only a short window left, as the park is scheduled to close for the monsoon season on June 15. Authorities have warned that the zone could shut even earlier if heavy rainfall arrives ahead of schedule. To manage uncertainty caused by weather conditions, the reserve has suspended long-term advance bookings for Dhikala between June 1 and June 15. Instead, visitors can make reservations only through a current booking system that opens two days in advance. The Dhikala Zone remains one of the reserve's most sought-after destinations, attracting wildlife enthusiasts from India and abroad. Overnight stays will remain suspended for five months, though limited day safaris may continue, subject to weather conditions.
