Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey' has crossed the Rs 100 crore gross mark at the Indian box office, becoming only the 21st Hollywood film to achieve the feat. It is also Nolan's second Rs 100 crore blockbuster in India after the Oscar-winning 'Oppenheimer'.

The Odyssey box office collection Day 6: Christopher Nolan's mythological epic 'The Odyssey' has crossed the Rs 100 crore gross milestone in India, emerging as one of the biggest Hollywood successes of the year despite the expected weekday slowdown.
According to early estimates by Sacnilk, the Matt Damon-starrer collected Rs 6.50 crore net on Day 6 (Wednesday) across 8,268 shows in India.
While the film recorded a 22.2 per cent drop from Tuesday's Rs 8.35 crore net collection, it comfortably crossed the coveted century mark.
The film's India net collection now stands at an estimated Rs 84.15 crore, while its India gross collection has reached approximately Rs 100.38 crore.
With this achievement, 'The Odyssey' has become only the 21st Hollywood film to cross the Rs 100 crore gross mark in India. It is also Christopher Nolan's second film to reach the milestone after the Oscar-winning 'Oppenheimer', which finished its theatrical run in India with Rs 128.46 crore.
The film opened with Rs 17.40 crore net on Friday and enjoyed a strong weekend, collecting an estimated Rs 61.30 crore in its first three days. Premium IMAX screenings and positive audience response have played a key role in sustaining its box office momentum.
The original English version continues to dominate the film's performance in India, contributing around Rs 66.55 crore of the total net collection.
The Hindi, Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions have together added less than Rs 20 crore to the overall tally.
Globally, 'The Odyssey' has also delivered a record-breaking performance for IMAX.
The film earned USD 52 million from IMAX screens worldwide during its opening weekend, contributing nearly 20 per cent of its global opening weekend box office. In India alone, IMAX screenings generated around Rs 14.6 crore (USD 1.7 million) over the opening weekend, making it one of the strongest IMAX releases in the country.
