Hyderabad: Telugu actor Nani has written to Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Minister for Cinematography Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and senior police officials, seeking permission to watch the premiere of his upcoming film 'The Paradise' with audiences at a theatre in Hyderabad’s RTC X Roads.

The film, directed by Srikanth Odela, is scheduled to release worldwide on September 24. Nani wants to attend the premiere show on September 23 and experience the film alongside the audience.

Taking to X, Nani described his request as coming from a “fan of cinema” who has enjoyed watching films from a young age.

“For me, cinema has always been about watching it together with people who love it just as much as I do. And in Hyderabad, that experience has a special place at RTC X Roads,” he wrote.

Nani said he would like to visit a theatre at RTC X Roads for 'The Paradise’s premiere and watch the film with the audience “the very people we made it for”.

The actor also said that he believed the ultimate satisfaction of making a film was to sit among the audience and experience their response to it.

“We will follow all the necessary protocols and safety guidelines in place. That will be our priority,” Nani said, while requesting the authorities to consider his appeal.

Nani on the making of 'The Paradise'

Ahead of the film’s release, Nani described 'The Paradise' as the most tiring film of his career, both physically and mentally.

“If there has been a film for which I have worked very hard in these 18 years of my film career, it is 'The Paradise',” he said during an interaction with the media.

The actor also addressed reports circulating on social media about the film’s action sequences. Nani clarified that 'The Paradise' does not feature an underwater sequence or a fight involving 1,000 people, as had been reported.

“There are a lot of action blocks. There are scenes that will give audiences a good high. The audience will feel the emotion in the violence,” he said.

'The Paradise', directed by Srikanth Odela, stars Nani in the lead role and has generated considerable anticipation ahead of its September 24 release.
