At the audio launch of Dhanush’s film Idli Kadai, it wasn’t just the music that stole the spotlight; it was a heartfelt moment between father and son that left the audience in awe.

Held in Chennai, the event saw Dhanush's younger son, Linga, take to the stage in an unexpected and endearing appearance. As Dhanush and composer GV Prakash Kumar grooved to the upbeat track "Enjaami Thandhaane", Linga joined them, breaking into a spontaneous dance with his father.

The crowd erupted in cheers as the two danced together, a rare and heartwarming sight. The proud father hugged Linga tightly, holding his face with affection. When Linga tried to touch Dhanush’s feet as a sign of respect, Dhanush gently stopped him, tapping his head playfully. The sweet exchange drew loud applause and left fans gushing online.

Social media was quick to capture and celebrate the touching moment. Fans flooded X and Instagram with clips and reactions. A user wrote, "Best dad & son duo ever".

When asked what comes to mind when he hears his name, Dhanush surprised everyone by setting aside his illustrious career and saying, “ remember myself as a Good Fathe. I don't like to say proud of Myself in many things, but on this I can say proudly that I'm good father.” As the audience applauded, Linga smiled and clapped, clearly moved by his father’s words.

Idli Kadai, directed and produced by Dhanush under Wunderbar Films in association with Dawn Pictures, features an ensemble cast including Nithya Menen, Arun Vijay, Shalini Pandey, Sathyaraj, R Parthiban, P Samuthirakani, and Rajkiran. The film is set to hit theatres on October 1.
