Bachelor Party Deux is directed by Amal Neerad and arrives 14 years after the release of the 2012 action film Bachelor Party. The sequel is being presented with a fresh Gen-Z-oriented approach while retaining the stylish visual aesthetic associated with the director’s work. The title ‘Deux’ is a French word meaning ‘two’, while it can also refer to ‘of them’ or ‘about them’.
The film features a large ensemble cast including Naslen, Kunchacko Boban, Soubin Shahir, Sharafudheen, Sreenath Bhasi, Chandhu Salimkumar, Tovino Thomas, Shine Tom Chacko, Paris Laxmi, Nadia Moidu, Rajisha Vijayan, Jyothirmayi and Hansika Krishnakumar.
The first-look poster, set against a red-and-gold retro backdrop, was released earlier and drew attention online. The return of the Bachelor Party franchise has also raised expectations among audiences familiar with the original film.
Bachelor Party Deux is jointly produced by Amal Neerad Productions, Anwar Rasheed Entertainments and Fahadh Faasil and Friends. Appu Prabhakar is the cinematographer, while Vivek Harshan handles editing. Christo Xavier has composed the music, with dialogues by Unni R. Tapas Nayak is responsible for sound design and Joseph Nellikkal for production design.
The film’s lyrics are by Rafeeq Ahamed and Vinayak Sasikumar, while Mashar Hamsa handles costumes and Ronex Xavier is responsible for makeup. Athira Diljith is the PRO. Bachelor Party Deux is scheduled for a worldwide release on November 19.
