Ravi Teja, widely known as Mass Maharaja among the Telugu audience, is set to star in the upcoming film 'Mr. Bachchan', directed by Harish Shankar. The film features Bhagyashri Borse as the heroine and is a remake of the Bollywood hit 'Raid'. However, the film has come under scrutiny due to a recently released song.
Recently, a song titled ‘Sitar’ composed by Mickey J Meyer was released for the film. But what people noticed more than the song was the glamor of the song and the age of the hero and heroine who acted in that scene. The 56-year-old Ravi Teja's outrageous foray into the song industry with the 25-year-old heroine has become a cause of ridicule from fans.
While some argue that the song is good, many critics contend that certain scenes and dance moves are inappropriate. They question the logic behind casting two actors with such a significant age difference in a romantic song.
One critic remarked that the filmmakers seem more interested in displaying glamour than in portraying the actress's face. "If they don't get good content, they are ready to accept such wild trends," another comment read, adding that such practices should be rejected and that both the actress and the director deserve criticism.
‘Mr. Bachchan’ is scheduled for release on August 15 this year
