
Tamil film superstar Ajith Kumar, known for his passion for motorsports, is gearing up for a major return to the racing circuit. After more than a decade away from professional racing, the actor has been spotted at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain, preparing for his next big challenge in the 24H Series.
Ajith’s return to racing marks an exciting chapter in his motorsport journey, which started in 2002 when he took part in the Formula Maruti Indian Championships, finishing in fourth place. His racing career continued to grow when he was signed as a driver for the inaugural Formula BMW Asia Championship in 2003, completing the season in twelfth place.

Now, in addition to his racing career, Ajith has ventured into team ownership and is set to participate as a driver in the prestigious 24H Dubai 2025, along with the European 24H Series Championship. His involvement in these top-tier races shows his dedication to the sport, blending his passion for films with a thrilling motorsport career.

While racing remains a top priority, Ajith’s acting career continues to flourish. Recently, he was seen in the 2023 film Thunivu, directed by H. Vinoth. Looking ahead, Ajith fans can look forward to his upcoming roles in Vidaamuyarchi, directed by Magizh Thirumeni, which also stars Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Sarja, Arav, and Regina Cassandra. Ajith will also star in Good Bad Ugly, directed by Adhik Ravichandran, alongside actors Prasanna and Sunil.
