The release date for the movie 'Garudan', featuring Soori and Unni Mukundan in lead roles, has been officially announced. Actor Shashikumar also plays an important character in the movie.

The movie, set to hit the theatres on May 31, has garnered attention from audiences due to the appearance of Unni Mukundan in a lead role and the creative contributions of Vetrimaaran, who has penned the screenplay. Actress Sshivada also appears in the film. 

Directed by R.S. Durai Senthilkumar, the film is jointly produced by Lark Studios and Grass Root Film Company. Arthur A Wilson is credited with handling the cinematography, while the music is composed by Yuva Shankar Raja.

For Unni Mukundan, who initially debuted in Tamil cinema with 'Seedan' directed by Subramaniam Siva, 'Garudan' marks his second lead role in a Tamil film.
