Chennai: In an interesting development, South Indian actor Jayam Ravi has changed his name to Ravi Mohan. In a note shared on social media, he announced that he would henceforth be known as Ravi Mohan. Along with the name change, he also shared information about launching a new film production company named "Ravi Mohan Studios." Apart from this, he said that he would establish "Ravi Mohan Fans Foundation" by uniting his fan clubs.

"Dear fans, friends, media personnel, and the public, as we step into a new year filled with hope and endless possibilities, I am excited to share a decision that marks a new chapter in my journey”.

“Cinema has always been my greatest passion and the foundation of my career. It is the world of cinema that has shaped who I am today. Reflecting on my journey, I am deeply grateful for the opportunities, love and support that cinema and all of you have given me. I wish to give back to the industry that has provided me with a life filled with love and purpose” Ravi said.

“ From this day onwards, I will be known by the name 'Ravi/Ravi Mohan,' which deeply resonates with my personal and professional aspirations. As I move into this new chapter, I humbly request everyone to address me by this name, which integrates my identity with my vision and values. From today, I will no longer be known as Jayam Ravi. This is my personal note and heartfelt request”, he said.

“ I am also delighted to announce the launch of my production company, 'Ravi Mohan Studios,' which is dedicated to pursuing my unwavering passion for cinema. This venture will focus on discovering, nurturing, and delivering compelling narratives that captivate, inspire, and resonate with audiences worldwide.
