Actress Swasika Vijay and her husband, television actor Prem Jacob, have announced that they have remarried on their first wedding anniversary. The couple revealed the news through an Instagram post by Prem, which included a video reel, where he shared details of their ceremony.

"One year passed by so quickly , and so we decided to get married again in Tamil Style. Thank you everyone for making this beautiful , even though it was a shoot we both felt it as an actual wedding. Love you all," Prem wrote on Instagram.

The couple originally tied the knot on January 24, 2024, after working together on a television serial. Swasika, whose real name is Pooja Vijay, entered the film industry with the Tamil movie 'Vaigai'. She gained significant recognition early on through television serials.

Swasika has played notable roles in films such as 'Prabhuvinte Makkal', 'Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan', 'Porinju Mariam Jose', and 'Chathuram'. She won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Character Actress in 2019 for her performance in 'Vasanthi'.
