
Thrissur: Former MP and actor Suresh Gopi inaugurated the ‘Meyyezhuth’ ceremony of Pulikali artistes here on Saturday. He painted the tiger’s eyes for four men who were in ‘pulikali’ attire.
The artistes staged a special performance following the ceremony.
Addressing the event, Suresh Gopi extended Onam wishes to all.
He said that it is a comeback for Keralites to grand celebrations after the pandemic.

The ‘Meyyezhuth’ ceremony was organised by Sakthan Pulikali team as a campaign for the ‘Pulikali’ event.
Class 5 student Adhin Anuraj, Veliyannoor native Kadhireshan, Paramu and Patturaikkal native Santhosh dressed up as tigers for the event. Pulikali is staged in Thrissur Swaraj round on the fourth Onam.
