Sunita Ahuja, wife of Bollywood actor Govinda, has once again grabbed attention with her candid comments about marriage and loyalty, saying she would never leave her husband even if he were involved in multiple affairs.

The remark, made during the reality show Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa, quickly became one of the most talked-about moments from the show, triggering discussions on social media about relationships, commitment and personal choices.

During an interaction on the show, hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, Sunita addressed criticism surrounding her outspoken comments about her marriage. Responding to actress Shilpa Shinde, she argued that people often judge situations without understanding what someone has experienced in their personal life.

Sunita said, “When it happens to you, you will know what I went through. It’s my life…. I will do whatever I want...Aur woh mera pati hai... Agar woh 10 jagah bhi affair karega, main usse nahi chhodungi. I love him till death (He is my husband. Even if he has affairs with 10 different women, I will not leave him. I will love him until my last breath.)”.

The conversation did not end there. Later in the episode, while speaking with fellow contestant Ram Kapoor, Sunita again defended her stance.

"Don’t you talk about my family. Mera pati hai. Agar woh 50 affairs bhi kare, tere baap ka kya ja raha hai? He is my husband. Main uski biwi hoon (he is my husband. Even if he has 50 affairs… He is my husband, and I am his wife.)”

Her remarks have since generated mixed reactions online, with some viewers praising her honesty and loyalty, while others debated whether unconditional support in a marriage should have limits.

The comments come amid renewed public interest in Sunita and Govinda's relationship, which has frequently been discussed by fans over the years. The couple, married for decades, remain one of Bollywood's most recognised husband-wife pairs, and Sunita's unfiltered opinions have often made headlines.
