Grabbing headlines with intriguing titles has emerged as a recent trend in Malayalam movies. Following the movie ‘Nna Thaan Case Kodu’ of director Ratheesh Balakrishna Pothuval with Kunchacko Boban in lead role, the poster of Sreenath Bhasi’s new film has gained much attention. Sreenath’s next movie, which will be the directorial venture of Sanjith Chandrasenan has been named as ‘Namuk Kodathiyil Kaanam’ (Let’s see at court). The first look poster of the movie has been launched.

Though the producers’ union temporarily banned Sreenath Bhasi following a complaint lodged by an anchor against him, the actor is allowed to work for already committed projects. The union has not revoked the ban, despite the anchor withdrawing the complaint.

Aashiq Akbar Ali has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues of the movie, which will be produced under the banner of MGC Private Limited and Haseeb’s Films. The movie’s plot develops through the issues surfacing between the families of a couple, who had an interfaith marriage.

Ranji Panicker, Lalu Alex, Niranj Raju, Johny Antony, Hareesh Kanaran, Alencier, Jayaraj Warrier, Sijoy Varghese, Danesh Anand, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Nithin Ranji Panicker, Mrinalini Gandhi, Sarayu Mohan and Kavitha Nair play the other major roles in the movie.
