
The much-awaited Malayalam film Alappuzha Gymkhana has hit theatres worldwide on Thursday. The Khalid Rahman directorial features an ensemble cast including Naslen, Anagha Ravi, Lukman Avaran, and Sandeep Pradeep.
Sivakarthikeyan meets Gymkhana team
Meanwhile, ahead of the film’s release, Tamil superstar Sivakarthikeyan had a meeting with the young and vibrant team of Alappuzha Gymkhana.
After their meeting, the film crew thanked Sivakarthikeyan on their social media platform for his kind gesture. The Instagram post read:
“Thank you, @Siva_Kartikeyan sir, for taking the time to meet with us and for sharing your kind thoughts on #AlappuzhaGymkhana trailer and songs. Your words have given our team so much energy and inspiration. Thank you for your constant encouragement! In theatres from APRIL 10!!!”
Sivakarthikeyan, who is currently one of the most sought-after actors in South Indian cinema, is basking in the splendid success of Amaran, based on the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan, which was released in theatres last year. He starred opposite Sai Pallavi in the film.
An admirer and supporter of Malayalam cinema, Sivakarthikeyan has, on many occasions in the past, expressed his love for and support of films made in Kerala. This latest incident is just another example of his cordial nature.
The superstar is known to have praised the entire team of Alappuzha Gymkhana after watching the trailer. He reportedly told the team that he is looking forward to watching the movie in theatres, sharing his excitement.
Meanwhile, excitement is sky-high as cinephiles have made a beeline to theatres to watch Alappuzha Gymkhana, which has finally released after much anticipation.
