Mumbai: Three unpublished songs were posted on the official YouTube site of slain Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, popularly known as Sidhu Moosewala, on Wednesday, five hours after two episodes of the documentary "The Killing Call" were broadcast on the BBC World Service.

Wednesday is a special day for Moosewala fans because it also marks the late singer’s 32nd birth anniversary. Needless to say, the tracks- “0008”, “Neal”, and “Take Notes” went viral within minutes of their release. Within an hour, all three songs had surpassed one million views.

Moosewala's legacy endures despite his untimely death because of his popular songs, such as ‘295’, ‘Goat’, and ‘So High’.

Recently, fans turned emotional after a new image of Shubhdeep, the brother of the late musician, appeared on social media. In the photo that went viral, the toddler was seen interacting with his father, Balkaur Singh. As the father-son pair posed for the camera, the latter was seen holding his infant son in his arms.

Sidhu's father, Balkaur Singh, had earlier mentioned the release, assuring supporters that the beloved singer will be releasing new music on this special day.

Meanwhile, the family celebrated Moosewala's birth anniversary at their home in Moosa village, Mansa, with a "paath" (prayer ceremony) and cake-cutting. His private automobiles, such as his tractors and jeep, were also on exhibit.

Iqbal Singh, a fan who paid a visit to Moosewala's house, said that Sidhu lives in their hearts. “He may have gone too soon, but he still lives in our hearts. We demand justice for the family,” he said.
