Mumbai: Imran Nazir Khan, a contestant on the Zee5 reality show 'Real Man Unleashed,' has come forward with serious allegations of casting couch and intimidation, sharing his experience in a social media post. The show, hosted by Sunny Leone, Sahil Khan, and social media influencer Mr. Faisu, has now come under public scrutiny following Khan’s claims.
Khan alleged that he was approached with an indecent proposal on the very first day of the shoot and was threatened with consequences for rejecting it.
“I recently participated in a reality show hosted by Sunny Leone, Sahil Khan, and Mr Faisu. On the very first day, the producer asked me if I was willing to ‘compromise.’ I clearly refused,” Khan said in his statement.
According to the aspiring actor, the issue resurfaced during the show's final stage. Despite reaching the finals through hard work, he said he was pressured again with the same condition and eventually eliminated for not complying.
“When I reached the finals, he asked me the same question again - saying, ‘If you want to be the winner, you have to compromise. Otherwise, you’ll be out.’ Once again I said no. Right after that, I was thrown out of the show. I raised an objection and told him this was completely unfair - I worked hard to reach the finals, and this is not how things should be done,” he said.
Khan further claimed that the producer went on to threaten his future in the industry.
“That’s when he started threatening me. He said, You won’t be able to survive in Mumbai. I’ll make sure you don’t get work. If you post about this on social media, I’ll get your account deleted. I’ll ruin your career,” Khan alleged.
The contestant also revealed that he was not the only one who experienced such pressure. He named two other reality show participants, including former 'Roadies' contestants Vashu Jain and Jovel Mathew, as having gone through similar ordeals.
“And this didn’t just happen to me. Two other contestants faced the same – one of them is an ex-Roadies contestant, and the other is a winner of Roadies. This is no longer just about the show. This is about dignity. And I will speak up,” he added.
Khan claimed that the show’s creative team quit the project after learning about the allegations, walking out just a day before the finale was scheduled to be filmed.
