Actor Siddique, accused in rape case, granted one-month travel permit to UAE and Qatar by Thiruvananthapuram court.

Thiruvananthapuram: The First Class Judicial Magistrate Court in Thiruvananthapuram has granted actor Siddique, accused in a rape case, permission to travel abroad for one month.
Siddique had filed a petition seeking permission to visit the UAE and Qatar. The order was issued by the First Class Judicial Magistrate Court III in Thiruvananthapuram.
As per the court’s directive, Siddique must return his passport after travelling to the UAE between September 19 and September 24, 2025, and to Qatar between October 13 and October 18, 2025.
The surrender of his passport was one of the conditions imposed when bail was granted. The court has now relaxed this condition temporarily, based on Siddique’s request to attend film shoots and events abroad.
What’s the case against him?
The rape complaint alleges that Siddique lured a young actress to a hotel in Thiruvananthapuram under the pretext of offering her a film opportunity and then sexually assaulted her. Evidence confirms Siddique’s stay at the hotel on the date mentioned in the complaint, as well as the actress’s presence there. The charge-sheet also includes proof such as messages allegedly sent by Siddique to the complainant.
