Fahadh Faasil, a prominent young actor known for his remarkable performances beyond the Malayalam film industry, is making waves in Tamil cinema with outstanding roles in films like ‘Vikram’ and ‘Maamannan’. His latest venture is ‘Vettaiyan’, a Tamil film starring superstar Rajinikanth. Remarks made by Rajinikanth about Fahadh during the audio launch of this film have gone viral on social media.

Rajinikanth shared, “Fahadh Faasil was chosen for an entertainer character in ‘Vettaiyan’. I don’t need to be told who to select as artists, but I was informed that Fahadh is the right fit for this role. It was necessary to bring him into this film, as the storyline required him.”

Rajinikanth expressed his surprise upon hearing this, stating, “I haven’t watched many of his films, just ‘Vikram’ and ‘Maamannan’, where he portrayed serious villainous characters. I thought, how can he fit into an entertainer role in this film?”

When he shared this concern, others suggested that he should watch Fahadh’s Malayalam films, claiming he is a super artist. Rajinikanth later realized Fahadh's exceptional talent, saying, “You won’t find such a natural artist anywhere; I haven’t seen one until now. You can’t even find him sitting in the caravan when not shooting. However, when the shot is ready, he comes running in from somewhere. He quickly finishes the shot. His acting is incredible. When you watch the film, you will understand what I mean. He is a super artist.”

‘Vettaiyan’ is set to hit theaters on October 10 and features a stellar cast, including Amitabh Bachchan and other major stars.
