After more than three decades, Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan is reuniting with Rajinikanth in the much-anticipated movie 'Vettaiyan'. The makers of the film have recently unveiled a picture featuring Bachchan and Rajinikanth together, generating a buzz among eager fans.
The released images offer a glimpse into the Mumbai location of 'Vettaiyan', further fueling anticipation for the film's release. Big B and Thalaivar last worked together in the Hindi film ‘Hum’, directed by Mukul Anand which was released in 1991. ‘Hum’ was a massive rage in the 1990s and a huge success.
Directed by T J Gnanavel, renowned for 'Jai Bhim', 'Vettaiyan' marks Rajinikanth's 170th film and is scheduled to hit theatres later this year. Produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under the Lyca Productions banner, the movie boasts an ensemble cast of Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier, Rana Daggubati, Kishore, Ritika Singh, Dushara Vijayan, GM Sundar, Rohini, Abhirami, Rao Ramesh, Ramesh Thilak, Rakshan, Sabumon Abdusamad, and Supreeth Reddy.
Anirudh Ravichander, known for his musical prowess, has composed the music for the film. Filming has taken place across various locations, including Thiruvananthapuram, Tirunelveli, Chennai, Mumbai, Andhra Pradesh, and Hyderabad.
