PVR INOX has officially branded 2025 as the “Year of the Big Screen,” unveiling its most expansive and star-studded line-up of films across Bollywood, Hollywood, and regional cinema. With footfalls projected to exceed 180 million, the company is aiming to deliver a record-breaking year of theatrical entertainment driven by powerful storytelling and immersive formats.

The Bollywood schedule features a mix of major sequels and original content. Blockbuster follow-ups such as Kesari Chapter 2, Raid 2, Housefull 5, War 2, Jolly LLB 3, and Baaghi 4 are expected to dominate the box office. Meanwhile, fresh titles like Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, The Delhi Files – The Bengal Chapter, and 120 Bahadur are set to bring new narratives to the fore. Multi-starrer spectacles such as Welcome to the Jungle, Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par, and YRF’s Alpha further enrich the line-up.

Hollywood fans can expect a series of high-octane global releases including Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning starring Tom Cruise, F1 featuring Brad Pitt, Jurassic World: Rebirth, and Avatar: Fire and Ash. Many of these titles will be presented in premium formats like IMAX and 4DX, designed to elevate the cinematic experience to new heights.

Regional cinema is also set to play a key role in this ambitious slate. Among the highlights are Rajasaab (starring Prabhas), Thalapathy (Vijay), Kantara Chapter 1 (Rishabh Shetty), Vishwambhara (Chiranjeevi), and Toxic (Yash). These films are expected to deliver on both visual spectacle and compelling storytelling, bolstered by advanced production values.

Gautam Dutta, CEO – Revenue & Operations at PVR INOX Limited, described 2025 not just as a schedule of releases, but “a grand celebration of cinema.” He highlighted the company's focus on premium large-screen formats such as IMAX, 4DX, ScreenX, and P[XL], which will help audiences “live every frame” rather than simply watch it.

With content spanning genres, languages, and formats, PVR INOX’s 2025 line-up underscores a renewed commitment to theatrical storytelling and is poised to redefine the big-screen experience for Indian moviegoers.
