Born on December 2, 1955, in Guruvayur, Unni Menon’s journey began under the guidance of Nambalatt Narayanankutty Menon and soon extended to Tamil cinema, where legendary composer B A Chidambaranath recognised his talent.

Menon rose to fame with A R Rahman’s “Puthu Vellai Mazhai…” in 1992 and has since delivered hundreds of memorable tracks.
