New Delhi: Pushpa fever hit Patna in full swing as Telugu superstar Allu Arjun unveiled the much-anticipated trailer of his upcoming movie Pushpa 2: The Rule. The grand event took place at a jam-packed Gandhi Maidan on Sunday, drawing a massive crowd of excited fans eager to catch a glimpse of their favorite star.  

The event wasn’t just about the trailer—it was an emotional first for Arjun, who was visiting Bihar for the first time.

"I am truly grateful for the love and warm welcome you’ve shown me," he told the cheering crowd.

Playing to the gallery, Arjun delivered a heartfelt twist to his iconic line, saying, "Pushpa kabhi jhukega nahin, lekin aaj pehli baar, aapke pyaar ke liye jhukega." Translation? Pushpa bows to no one—but this time, he’s bowing for his fans' love!  

Joining him at the launch was Rashmika Mandanna, who plays Srivalli, and director Sukumar. The movie also stars Fahadh Faasil, adding even more excitement to the already star-studded sequel to 2021's blockbuster 'Pushpa: The Rise'.  

Allu Arjun’s hindi charm 

The National Award winner made a special effort to connect with his Hindi-speaking audience, even joking about his "thoda galat" Hindi skills. But that only made fans love him more, as he thanked Patna for its overwhelming support, saying, “Thank you, Patna, you have given me so much love.”

High drama at the event  

While fans were thrilled to see their beloved star, the massive turnout led to some chaos. A stampede-like situation arose before the event began, forcing police to step in with a mild lathicharge to control the crowd. To add to the drama, a video of some fans hurling slippers toward the stage started circulating online, adding a bizarre twist to the event.
