Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra marked her son Neer Chadha’s first Raksha Bandhan with a glimpse of the intimate family celebration, sharing a picture of the infant’s tiny wrist adorned with his first Rakhi.
The Rakhi was tied by his older cousin, Priyanka Chopra’s daughter Malti Marie. Sharing the moment on Instagram on Sunday, Parineeti expressed her appreciation for the special gesture from her "Malti didi".
Priyanka later shared Parineeti’s post on her own Instagram Stories, adding a loving message for her nephew: "Didi loves you baby Neer."
The social media exchange offered a glimpse of the cousins’ bond, despite their families living in different parts of the world.
Parineeti and Raghav welcome son Neer
Parineeti and her husband, politician Raghav Chadha, welcomed their first child, Neer, on October 19, 2025, in Delhi.
The couple announced their son’s name publicly about a month later, on November 19.
The family has largely kept details about Neer private, making the Raksha Bandhan glimpse a rare look at the couple’s son.
Parineeti Chopra's return to acting
On the work front, Parineeti is preparing to return to acting with Netflix’s psychological crime thriller series Shaque: Trust No One, which is currently the project’s title.
The series will mark her return to the screen following her recent break from acting.
Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra is set to make her return to Indian cinema with Varanasi, an action-adventure film directed by SS Rajamouli.
The film stars Mahesh Babu alongside Priyanka and is scheduled to release in April 2027.
