Mumbai: Actor Prabhas, known for his blockbuster hit Kalki 2898 AD, has expanded his creative horizons by launching 'The Script Craft,' a platform aimed at empowering and promoting writers. This initiative allows aspiring storytellers to showcase their ideas and gain recognition.
'The Script Craft' offers writers a chance to share their story ideas through 250-word synopses. These submissions are then rated by the audience, with the highest-rated stories gaining visibility. The platform prioritises ratings over comments, creating a positive and supportive environment that helps writers build confidence.

To celebrate the launch, 'The Script Craft' has introduced a special contest titled “Imagine Your Favourite Hero with Superpowers.” Writers are encouraged to submit stories (up to 3,500 words) reimagining a hero with extraordinary abilities. The winner, based on audience engagement, will have the chance to work on a real film project as an assistant writer or assistant director.
Plans for expansion and audiobooks feature
Looking ahead, 'The Script Craft' plans to further expand by introducing an audiobooks feature, where writers can transform their stories into immersive audio experiences. Prabhas's involvement in the platform emphasises his commitment to nurturing new talent and supporting creative storytelling.
Prabhas’s upcoming projects
On the work front, Prabhas continues to make waves in the film industry with multiple projects lined up, including The Raja Saab, Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryanga Parvam, Kalki 2, and an untitled project with director Hanu Raghavpudi. The success of his Baahubali franchise, directed by S. S. Rajamouli, helped pioneer the pan-India film movement and remains a key influence in the commercial film industry.
