Prithviraj, Supriya Menon and Manju Warrier join a wave of support from the film fraternity after the survivor actress assault case shares an emotional post following the court verdict

Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran has extended his support to the survivor in the actress assault case, shortly after the trial court delivered its verdict. He expressed solidarity by sharing the survivor’s post on social media. His wife, producer Supriya Menon, also shared the same post with the message, “Always with her”.
In her post, the survivor thanked those who stood by her, saying the verdict reaffirmed the painful reality that not everyone is equal before the law. She wrote that her fundamental rights were not protected and that the court’s decision did not come as a surprise.
Describing it as the end of an intensely painful journey, she said she could see a faint glimmer of light ahead. She dedicated the verdict to those who mocked her pain, dismissed her suffering as lies and branded the case as fabricated.
Soon after, actor Manju Warrier publicly voiced her support for the survivor. She wrote that it was a frightening reality that the masterminds behind the crime continue to walk freely in broad daylight.
Several others from the film industry also rallied behind the survivor, including actors Parvathy Thiruvothu, Rima Kallingal, Ramya Nambeesan, Ahana Krishna, Jewel Mary and Shafna, dubbing artist Bhagyalakshmi and singer Sayanora Philip, all of whom expressed solidarity with her ongoing fight for justice.
