A Pawan Kalyan fan bought an OG benefit show ticket for ₹1.3 Lakh at an auction in Telangana

In an extraordinary display of fandom, a die-hard fan of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan stunned everyone by buying a single ticket for ₹1,29,999 just to watch the benefit show of his upcoming movie ‘They Call Him OG’.
The auction took place at Srinivasa Theatre in Choutuppal, Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri district on Sunday.
The generous fan, Amudala Paramesh, hails from Lakkaram village of Choutuppall mandal. He bought the ticket at such a steep cost simply to show his admiration for Pawan Kalyan. The auction witnessed enthusiastic participation from fellow fans, all eager to grab a chance to watch the movie in a special screening.
Details of the benefit show
The ticket was for the benefit show scheduled at 1 am on September 25, the day the film hits theatres, with regular tickets priced at just ₹800. The amount collected from the auction will be donated to Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Party (JSP).
About the movie
‘They Call Him OG’, also known simply as ‘OG’, is directed by Sujeeth and produced by DVV Entertainment. Fans are eagerly awaiting the release, making it one of the most anticipated films of the year.
Telangana ticket price hike
The Telangana government recently cleared a ticket price hike, issuing the official order on September 19.
As per the order, a special 9 pm show will be allowed on September 24, with tickets priced at ₹800 (inclusive of GST).
From September 25 to October 4, 2025, ticket prices will see a temporary increase: single-screen theatres can add ₹100, while multiplexes may add ₹150.
After October 4, ticket rates will revert to their usual pricing – ₹177 for single screens and ₹295 for multiplexes.
