Parvathy Thiruvothu teams up with Don Palathara and Dileesh Pothan for an emotionally charged Malayalam drama set in Kerala.

New Delhi: Acclaimed Malayali actor Parvathy Thiruvothu is set to star in director Don Palathara’s upcoming Malayalam film, which will also feature celebrated filmmaker-actor Dileesh Pothan.
Known for his contemplative storytelling and deep emotional realism, Palathara has previously helmed critically acclaimed films such as ‘Family’, ‘Santhoshathinte Onnam Rahasyam’ and ‘1956, Central Travancore’. Parvathy, whose performances in ‘Uyare’, ‘Take Off’ and ‘Ullozhukku’ earned widespread praise, joins forces with Palathara for the first time.
Though details about the story remain under wraps, the film is described as an emotionally intense drama that will be extensively shot across Kerala and is expected to go on floors soon.
Expressing her admiration for the filmmaker, Parvathy said, "Don Palathara's movies hold up a mirror to how we live and love, often without judgment or noise. To step into that kind of world as an actor is very liberating. His films are powerfully meditative. He invites us to actively engage in reflecting on how we live. As an actor, I find that kind of space exhilarating because it demands that you unlearn performance and simply be. This is also incredibly challenging."
She added, "Working with him has been on my wishlist for a while and I'm thrilled that this project came my way. And to share the screen with Dileesh, someone whose creative sensitivity I've admired for years, feels like an opportunity to be a student again."
Apart from this collaboration, Parvathy is also set to lead Hrithik Roshan’s debut production, ‘Storm’, and will work with filmmaker Bejoy Nambiar.
