
The first single, ‘Heart Attack,’ from the upcoming film ‘Painkili’ has been released, igniting excitement across social media. Featuring Sajin Gopu and Anaswara Rajan in lead roles, the film had already grabbed attention with its vibrant posters, and now its music is making waves.
Penned by Vinayak Sasikumar, composed by Justin Varghese, and performed by rapper Fejo, ‘Heart Attack’ marks the first collaboration between Justin Varghese and Vinayak Sasikumar. The track has been unveiled with the tagline “A Justin Varghese Angioplasty,” playfully hinting at its electrifying impact.
Helmed by actor-turned-director Sreejith Babu, ‘Painkili’ boasts an exciting ensemble cast, including ‘Aavesham’ breakout star Roshan Shahnavaz. The film is jointly produced by Fahadh Faasil and Jithu Madhavan under the banners of Fahadh Faasil and Friends and Urban Animal. Jithu Madhavan—celebrated for ‘Romancham’ and ‘Aavesham’—has also penned the screenplay, making ‘Painkili’ an eagerly awaited project.
Sajin Gopu, best known for his portrayal of Amban in ‘Aavesham’ alongside Fahadh Faasil’s Rangan Chettan, takes center stage as the lead protagonist for the first time. His performances in ‘Churuli,’ ‘Jan.E.Man,’ ‘Romancham,’ ‘Neymar,’ and ‘Chaaver’ have established him as a formidable talent, making his transition to a lead role highly anticipated.
The film also features a stellar supporting cast, including Chandu Salimkumar, Abu Salim, Jisma Vimal, Lijo Jose Pellissery, Riyaz Khan, and several others.
Director Sreejith Babu, known for his collaborations with acclaimed filmmakers like Aashiq Abu, Dileesh Pothan, Johnpaul George, and Vishnu Narayanan, makes a bold leap into directing in this movie.
