“After a whole day of shoot, anyone would be exhausted — but not you, Nim…” said the actor, adding that she is super proud of the cinematographer.

Malayalam cinema continues to make waves, as the film Lokah Chapter One: Chandra emerges as a runaway success, garnering an impressive ₹275 crore at the box office. Declared an industry hit by its producers earlier this week, the film has not only captivated audiences but also earned high praise from fellow artists within the industry.
Actor Ahaana Krishna took to Instagram to congratulate director Dominic Arun and cinematographer Nimish Ravi for their instrumental roles in the film’s success. In a heartfelt series of Instagram stories, Ahaana lauded the duo’s dedication to creating meaningful cinema, expressing admiration for their focus and collaborative spirit.
“Dominic and Nimish were both deeply invested in crafting a good film,” Ahaana noted, adding that she is now eagerly looking forward to what the duo will create in future chapters of Lokah.
In a particularly touching message dedicated to Nimish Ravi, Ahaana highlighted the cinematographer’s unwavering commitment to the project. “After a whole day of shoot, anyone would be exhausted. But in the last few years, even with your busy schedule, there wasn’t a single day when you wouldn’t call Dominic and discuss Lokah. You were so invested in what you and Dominic knew you both were building,” she wrote.
She went on to credit Nimish not only for his work behind the camera but for stepping into the director’s vision with extraordinary passion. “This couldn’t have happened without you... Keep your head straight, feet firmly on the ground, heart in the right place, and focus on what you love most—bringing life and soul into the work you do.”
Lokah, inspired by the legendary tale of Kalliyankattu Neeli, has struck a chord with viewers across regions. Featuring Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen K. Gafoor in lead roles, the film blends myth, emotion, and compelling storytelling in what has been described as a bold and genre-defying cinematic effort.
Directed by Dominic Arun, the film’s visual narrative and atmospheric tone have received critical acclaim, particularly for Nimish Ravi’s evocative cinematography. The screenplay by Dominic (the director himself) and Santhy Balachandran has also been praised for its nuances.
As fans and critics alike await news of the sequel or continuation of Lokah, the team behind the film basks in the well-earned success — and the heartfelt words of support from peers like Ahaana Krishna only add to the celebration.
