Internet personality Orhan Awatramani, better known as Orry, has once again taken over social media, this time not for his quirky statements, but for the unusual security detail accompanying him. Orry appeared before the Mumbai Police’s Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) in connection with the alleged ₹252-crore drugs case, but it was his “liver protection squad” that grabbed all the attention.

Orry had earlier shared a fun photo of his bodyguards wearing customised sweatshirts with “Orry Guard” printed on the front and “Liver Protection” written on the back.

The hype multiplied when his guards actually showed up in the same outfits while accompanying him to the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) Ghatkopar unit for questioning.

This real-life appearance of the “liver protection squad” immediately went viral, with netizens calling it “peak Orry energy.”

The tagline originated during a 2023 interview where Orry explained his unique approach to life and work, saying he spends his time “working on himself,” going to the gym, doing yoga, getting massages, and practising self-reflection.

"You go for a job, you are a jobber. You paint, you are a painter. I am living, I am a liver. Yeah, I am a liver,” said Orry.

Orry appears before Mumbai Police again:

Mumbai Police had earlier issued a summons asking Orry to appear on November 19. A second summons followed, directing him to record his statement at the ANC Ghatkopar unit on November 26.

Orry’s name had previously surfaced in an FIR lodged on March 15, 2025, by Katra Police. The complaint involved several individuals allegedly consuming alcohol in a hotel near the Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrimage site, where alcohol and non-vegetarian food are strictly prohibited.

Authorities noted that a team was formed to track down those involved as the act was deemed disrespectful to religious sentiments.
