Mumbai: Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi encountered a minor car collision in Mumbai at approximately 4 pm on Saturday as she travelled toward the Sunburn Festival.

Mumbai Police reported that a drunk motorist crashed his vehicle into hers, though Fatehi emerged unscathed. Authorities transported her to a local hospital for precautionary first aid, confirming her stable condition. Undeterred by the mishap, she proceeded to deliver her performance at the event.

Her team quickly rushed her to the nearest hospital, where doctors performed a CT scan to check for any hemorrhagic injuries or internal bleeding. They confirmed that Nora had sustained a slight concussion from the impact. Despite medical advice to rest, Nora insisted on returning to work and fulfilling her professional commitments, stating that she would still make her scheduled appearance at Sunburn 2025 tonight.

"She was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for first aid, where her condition was confirmed to be stable. A case was registered against the intoxicated driver, and he was taken into custody," said Mumbai Police.

Law enforcement has filed charges against the impaired driver under provisions concerning reckless driving and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Renowned electronic dance music festival Sunburn, customarily hosted in Goa, marks its Mumbai debut this year.

The three-day extravaganza kicked off on December 19 and 20, set to conclude today, December 21.

Debuting in 2007 at Vagator Beach in Goa, Sunburn relocated to Pune between 2016 and 2018 prior to its Goa comeback. This edition brings the event to Mumbai amid recent years of mounting public criticism and regulatory hurdles for the Goa-linked spectacle.
