Malayalam star Nivin Pauly has entered the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU) as the stylish antagonist Walter in Benz. The actor confirmed the news on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption, “Stepped in as Walter #Benz,” tagging director Bakkiyaraj Kannan, filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj, and the production teams.

The post, which featured a striking image of Nivin’s new look, immediately set social media abuzz. Fans flooded the comments, praising his transformation and declaring that “Rolex will kneel before Walter,” referring to Suriya’s iconic villain from Vikram.

Benz, directed and written by Bakkiyaraj Kannan of Remo and Sulthan fame, stars Raghava Lawrence in the lead role. The film is being produced by Sudhan Sundaram under Passion Studios, Lokesh Kanagaraj’s G Squad, and Jagadish Palanisamy’s The Route.

The movie marks Nivin Pauly’s major Tamil comeback, this time as a full-fledged villain. His fans have celebrated the announcement, calling it one of his boldest career moves.

The shoot for Benz has officially begun, with filming scheduled across India and abroad over a period of 120 days. Gautham George is the cinematographer, Philomin Raj serves as editor, and Jacki handles the art direction. Action sequences are choreographed by Anl Arasu, promising high-octane visual spectacles.

Music for Benz is composed by Sai Abhyankkar, adding to the film’s energetic tone. The project has drawn significant attention as part of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s expanding LCU, which began with Kaithi and connected through Vikram and Leo.

Nivin Pauly, known for his acclaimed performances in Premam, Action Hero Biju, and Moothon, now steps into a darker, more menacing role. His portrayal of Walter is expected to introduce a formidable new villain to the LCU storyline.

The combination of Raghava Lawrence in the lead and Nivin Pauly as the antagonist, under the creative supervision of Lokesh Kanagaraj, has already positioned Benz as one of Tamil cinema’s most anticipated upcoming releases.
