The shooting of 'Sookshma Darshini', directed by MC Jithin and starring Basil Joseph and Nazriya Nazim in lead roles, has commenced.
The making video of the film has been released today by the crew on Happy Hours Entertainment's YouTube channel. The much-anticipated movie is produced by Sameer Thahir, Shyju Khalid, and AV Anoop under the banners of Happy Hours Entertainment and AVA Productions.
Following the success of the film 'Nonsense,' 'Sookshma Darshini' marks MC Jithin's next directorial venture. The screenplay, penned by MC Jithin, Athul Ramachandran, and Libin TB, is based on a story by MC Jithin and Athul Ramachandran. The music for the film is composed by Christo Xavier.
Meanwhile, Basil Joseph was last seen in 'Guruvayoor Ambala Nadayil' alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film, directed by Vipin Das, went on to do well at the box office, grossing over 88 Crores worldwide. Nazriya was last seen in the Telugu film 'Ante Sundaraniki' in 2022. Her last appearance in Malayalam cinema was in 'Trance' (2020), alongside her husband Fahadh Faasil. She also made a brief cameo in 'Maniyarayile Ashokan' (2020).
Nazriya returns to Malayalam cinema as a female lead after a hiatus, joining a talented ensemble cast that includes Deepak Parambol, Siddharth Bharathan, Merin Philip, Akhila Bhargavan, Pooja Mohanraj, Kottayam Ramesh, Gopan Mangat, Manohari Joy, Rini Udayakumar, Jaya Kurup, Muskaan Bisaria, Aparna Ram, Abhiram Pothuval, Binny Ringi, Nandan Unni, Naushad Ali, Athira Rajeev, Mirza Fathia, and others.
