Naushad, apart from being a producer, was a skillful chef who was widely cheered by the audience for his unique presentation skills. His iconic smile is a reminder of how easily he switched from being a producer to a chef in a matter of time. His early demise leaves an emptiness in the life of many who adored the brilliance and talent of an exceptional human being. 

His wife, Sheeba, died of a heart attack while he was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Thiruvalla. He was deeply affected by her loss and eventually passed away just two weeks after losing his wife. Their 13-year-old daughter Nashwa is deeply affected by the loss of her beloved parents.

After completing hotel management course and with years of experience, Naushad started the hotel franchise ‘Naushad The Big Chef’. Following this, he became the face of many cookery shows, anchoring, and exhibiting his splendorous skills to all his admirers.

Naushad also loved to be a part of cinema and his friendship with director Blessy brought him closer to the industry. He was the co-producer of the movie, ‘Kazhcha’ starring Mammootty, directed by Blessy. Later, he produced movies like 'Chattambinadu', 'Best Actor', 'Lion' and 'Payyans'.
