Chennai: The first look poster of Tovino's much-anticipated Malayalam film 'Narivetta' has been unveiled. The makers dropped the poster on Tuesday to mark Tovino’s birthday, making it a double treat for his admirers.
Taking to X , Tovino shared the poster with a thrilling message: “Either be a hunter or be the hunted. The choice is yours. And here the hunt begins!!! Presenting the first look of #Narivetta. Grateful for all the love and support on this special day!!”
The film, directed by Anuraj Manohar, has already created a buzz, especially since the team announced they’d wrapped up shooting recently. Tovino gave fans a peek into his experience, revealing that the shoot kicked off in Kuttanad and covered scenic spots like Kavalam, Pulinkunni, and Changanassery before moving to Wayanad. Impressively, the entire shoot wrapped up in just 65 days.
Despite the gruelling schedule, Tovino said it was all worth it.
“Although the film required a lot of hard work, I enjoyed the entire time because of being with a crew that I felt close to,” he said.
'Narivetta' promises to be more than just another film. Tovino described it as a bold political drama that tackles a topic close to his heart.
“I believe it is a topic that needs to be spoken about boldly and discussed. I hope it will be a film that will make you enjoy it with all your heart in the theatre and make you think after leaving the theatre,” he shared.
“I experienced the joy, happiness, crisis, and pain of life along with the character. This is a film that I have been waiting for with great anticipation in my acting career,” he added.
'Narivetta' will mark the Malayalam debut of acclaimed Tamil director Cheran, alongside Suraj Venjaramoodu, who plays a pivotal role. The film, based on real events, has been penned by Abin Joseph and boasts a stellar crew, including cinematographer Vijay, music director Jakes Bejoy, and editor Shameer Muhammed.
