The second season of ‘My Hero Academia: Vigilantes’ is set to premiere on January 5, 2026. The series is written by Hideyuki Furuhashi and illustrated by Betten Court.
At the Tokyo Comic Con 2025, the anime revealed its new trailer, key visual, theme song, artists, and additional cast details. Fans can watch the series on Crunchyroll.
What is the plot of season 2?
‘My Hero Academia: Vigilantes’ returns for its second season as a prequel to Kohei Horikoshi's popular My Hero Academia series. The story is set five days before the events of the main series and follows Koichi Hamawari, a young man who helps people using his unconventional, unlicensed abilities.
Koichi teams up with street performer Kazuho Haneyama. They are attacked by a group of thugs and saved by Vigilante Knuckleduster, who recruits them to become vigilantes themselves. Together, they take the fight against crime into their own hands.
The anime is produced by Bones Film and directed by Kenichu Suzuki. Yasuke Kurada worked on the scripts, while Takahiko Yoshida designed the characters.
