Sabarimala: While managing the crowd at Sopanam, many devotees at Sabarimala were left wondering if the officer was someone they recognised. “Is he the same person from the movies?” they questioned. It was, in fact, Sadanandan Chepparamba, a familiar face who has played roles as both a policeman and a postman in films. Even in the rush, pilgrims quickly identified him.

Sadanandan, an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) at the Alakode Police Station in Kannur, has become a known figure among devotees. His appearances in various recent films and comedy serials have made him easily recognisable. Many pilgrims, upon spotting the star, turned back to snap selfies with him.

His films include Thondimuthalum Driksaakshiyum, Kayamkulam Kochunni, Panchavarnathatha, Palthu Janwar, Porattu Nadakam and many others. 

Sadanandan’s entry into the film industry happened during his duty at the shooting location of ‘Kavi Uddheshichathu..?’ in 2016, where he played a small role. Since then, he has never looked back.
